MAFA is a collaboration between Focus Filmtheater, Museum Arnhem and ArtEZ Academy for Art & Design.

Workshop Active Listening

What does it feel like to be heard and really listened to? How do we listen across difference? And how is active listening relevant in the art world? These are some of the questions explored in the workshop designed and led by Sekai Makoni – an artist, facilitator and community researcher based in Rotterdam.

In this workshop the group is guided through a series of fun exercises and reflections to think more deeply about the ways we listen, both individually and collectively. We also think about some of the barriers to listening and how we can think in new ways about if and how we listen.
