The Worst Person in the World capsulates the worries and insecurities of twentysomethings and shows that the path to maturity is rocky, but worth it.

Julie expected so much more from life so far, but actually her day to day life has become quite boring. She decides to drastically change everything and ends her steady relationship with her successful writer boyfriend Aksel. Down and out she roams the city of Oslo, where she meets the young and handsome Eivind. There another adventure starts.

Renate Reinsve received critical acclaim for her role as Julie. She was awarded as with a Palme d’Or for Best Actress at the Filmfestival of Cannes.
