The Yami Ichi is an event centred around the theme of the internet, organised by third-year students from the Design, Art & Technology department at ArtEZ University of Arts. The Internet Yami Ichi has been held in various countries around the world over the years and will take place this year on 19 December 2025 at the Focus Filmtheatre Arnhem.

Yami Ichi opens its doors from 15:00 – 20:00 o’clock in the foyer of the Focus Filmtheatre Arnhem. There will be two film blocks between 16:15 – 17:15 o’clock and 17:30 – 18:30 o’clock.

You can browse the flea market in person, where small products, projects and ideas are sold at affordable prices. Visitors can bring their own devices to trade, chill out and meet offline in the Trade, Chill Corner and Chatroom. As the event is organised by art and design students, they have invited several artists to present their work dealing with internet and technology. What makes this new edition of Yami Ichi special is the first specially curated film program. Two film blocks present a diverse selection of short films that explore and reflect the interaction between human and technology, internet culture, networks and Ai.
