For our second ‘Beyond the Screen’ screening, we’re proud to announce Little Women as our selected movie! Since we’re celebrating International Women’s Day this month, we found that this incredible, Oscar-winning and female-directed movie, based on the famous book by Louisa May Alcott, was a perfect fit.

This film explores the everchanging relationships between a family of girls developing into women, the hardships they endure and the challenges they overcome. Little Women is a great watch that, despite taking place during the American Civil War, still can be taken as inspiration for women in our current day and age.
