Special screening by our Student Film Club: Beyond the Screen, which organizes a themed movie night once a month. Tickets are €8,50, one drink included, and are only available to students.

For this month’s student screening, we bring forth the theme “Freedom”! La vita è bella (1997) is a movie that challenges the imagination of freedom, as a Jewish Italian bookshop owner rewrites the story of war to protect his son from harm.

Will he be able to battle freedom with imagination, or will all hope be lost?

Is freedom only an external force, or does it exist in one’s internal self as well? And most importantly: What does freedom mean to you?
