Science Fiction Film Series – (2)026: A Space Odyssey

Architecture and science fiction seem like completely different worlds, but they share the same starting point: the imagination of the future. In 2026/2027, Focus Filmtheater and the Arnhem architecture center CASA are joining forces to present a series of science fiction films in which architecture and spatial design play a prominent role.

The occasion is the CASA program (2)026: A Space Odyssey, which focuses on the impact of technology on our built environment and its design. Science fiction films offer thought-provoking perspectives on these themes and hold up a mirror to the here and now. The films explore various aspects and will each be introduced by an inspiring speaker who will encourage the audience to view fact and fiction in a new light.
