Focus can also organize screenings for vocational and higher vocational education programs. For example, as part of a citizenship course, in connection with a specific program topic, or as a way to explore the medium of film itself.
The educational institution can either propose its own title or seek our advice. We can also provide an introduction to films or organize a post-screening discussion. The program can focus on both the formal aspects of film (how films are made, how to watch films) and their practical applications. In relation to the topic of citizenship, there are many interesting films available that can serve as a starting point for citizenship lessons.
We can also organize masterclasses with film professionals: how does a director work? Or a screenwriter? What does a film producer’s job entail?
If students have made their own films, it’s great fun to watch them with us in the theater.
