Focus offers a wide variety of film-related activities, ranging from school screenings to workshops.
A world without film, without visual culture, is unthinkable. Day in and day out, children are exposed to a great deal of audiovisual stimuli. Visual education is important so that they can process these stimuli effectively and appreciate what they see, hear, and experience.
Focus is happy to play a role in this. Not by pointing fingers, but out of a deep love for the medium of film. We believe that film can also help people gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them, and that film is a powerful way to tell a story.
That’s why Focus offers a wide range of film-related activities: from school screenings to workshops.

Focus is an enthusiastic provider of the pr8 cultural program: a partnership agreement between the City of Arnhem, nine cultural institutions and creators in Arnhem, and Arnhem’s elementary schools.
