New! Kakkerlakje booklet "Just Like in the Movie"

Starting December 19, available exclusively at select movie theaters in the Netherlands (including Focus!): *The Little Cockroach: Just Like in the Movie*. A richly illustrated, mail-in booklet filled with “wise” lessons from classic films. For example, what can we learn from the playful Amélie, the pensive Jeanne Dielman, or the wandering souls in *Lost in Translation*? The booklet was created by Loopvis Publishing in collaboration with the Nederlands Filmtheater Overleg (NFO). A wonderful (mailbox) gift for the film lover!

Kakkerlakjes

Whether you want to comfort someone, celebrate a friendship or a new chapter in life, or thank a colleague, there’s always a “Kakkerlakje.” Kakkerlakjes are an initiative of Loopvis Publishing in Arnhem and are created by young talents and established artists. Loopvis Publishing

Loopvis Publishing is a small, creative publishing house with a healthy dose of daring, founded by Marije Sietsma and based in Arnhem. Unconventional in its approach and, as a result, an award-winning publisher (including the Gourmand Award 2012 and Cookbook of the Year 2014). Loopvis is committed to a sustainable approach. For its printed materials, the publisher collaborates with Raddraaier Printing. Thanks to the use of vegetable-based inks and—of course—FSC-certified paper, the production of Loopvis books has the lowest possible environmental impact. The publisher finds alternative uses for printed pages that do not end up in the books. For example, they might be used as festive promotional materials, the pages of a notebook, or suitable wrapping paper. The Loopvis paper workshop employs people who face barriers to the labor market. NFO

The booklet “Just Like in the Movie” was made possible in part by the art house theaters affiliated with the Dutch Art House Theater Association (NFO). An association of medium-sized and large subsidized art house theaters in the Netherlands, founded to give a collective voice to its member institutions.
