Focus Filmtheater Arnhem has ANBI (Public Benefit Organization) status. This means that donors are eligible for special tax benefits on gifts, donations, and bequests: you can deduct all or part of your donation from your taxable income. See below for all the options.

If you’re a supporter of Focus Filmtheater in Arnhem, you can support our organization with a donation, a (recurring) contribution, or by including Focus in your will.
Cultural institutions are organizations active in the visual arts, architecture, heritage (museums, archives, archaeology, historic preservation), dance, film, literature, (pop) music, (musical) theater, or design. These include, for example, theater companies, theaters, libraries, film houses, (pop) music venues, literary, pop, and film festivals, and architecture centers.
What is the tax benefit for donors to a cultural ANBI? As of January 1, 2012, donors to cultural ANBIs are eligible for an additional donation deduction. Individuals may deduct 1.25 times the amount of the donation on their income tax return. Businesses subject to corporate income tax may deduct 1.5 times the amount of the donation on their corporate income tax return.

The Options
One-time donation or gift. The most common form of support. You can make a gift at any time, and it is generally tax-deductible.
A periodic contribution. A very tax-advantageous way to donate, involving a contribution spread over several years. Such a contribution must be formalized by a notarial deed. You decide the amount you wish to donate annually over a period of at least 5 years. If the total donation at least covers the costs, Focus Filmtheater will cover the notary’s fees.
Name Focus Filmtheater as an (co-)heir in your will. This method of bequeathing assets is called a bequest. A notary must also draw up a deed for this purpose.
A bequest. You can also consult a notary for this. The notary will then formally record what you wish to bequeath to Focus Filmtheater.
