(2)026: A Space Odyssey

Architecture and science fiction might seem like totally different worlds, but they share the same starting point: imagining the future. In 2026, Focus Film Theater and the Arnhem architecture center CASA are teaming up to present a series of science fiction films where architecture and spatial design play a central role.

The occasion is CASA’s program (2)026: A Space Odyssey, which focuses on the impact of technology on our built environment and how it’s shaped. Science fiction films offer thought-provoking perspectives on this and act as a mirror for the here and now. Each film highlights different aspects and is introduced by an inspiring speaker who will make the audience see fact and fiction in a new way.
