It is based on the events that led to the exposé “The Facebook Files” in the Wall Street Journal, which is based on the true story of young Facebook engineer Frances Haugen (Mikey Madison). As a whistleblower, she enlists the help of Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz (Jeremy Allen White) to expose the social network’s best-kept secrets.
