Los Tigres
In the industrial port of Huelva, brother and sister Antonio and Estrella fight daily to keep their heads above water. When an unexpected discovery turns their lives upside down, they are faced with a decision that puts everything at stake.
In Los Tigres, director Alberto Rodríguez dives into a raw world of underwater work and moral dilemmas. Antonio and Estrella work as professional divers, completely relying on each other in a dangerous job where every descent carries risks. When they find cocaine in the hull of a ship during their work, they are tempted by the possibility of a better life. But what starts as an opportunity grows into a threatening situation where trust, loyalty, and family ties are put under serious pressure.
With intense underwater sequences and a lean, effective build-up of tension, Rodríguez creates a gripping thriller, supported by strong performances from Antonio de la Torre and Bárbara Lennie.
