Hundreds of Beavers
Hundreds of Beavers is a crazy, black-and-white slapstick film about a drunken apple brandy salesman who has to survive the winter and defeat hundreds of beavers to become the best fur trapper in North America.
(Oh yeah, the beavers are just guys in costumes.)
After his apple brandy business is completely destroyed, a drunken salesman is left penniless and homeless in a freezing wilderness. He tries to survive and learns the art of fur trapping through trial and error. When he falls in love with the daughter of a fur trader, he is given an apparently impossible task: if he catches hundreds of beavers, he can marry her. What starts as a simple hunt turns into an increasingly absurd struggle, with ingenious traps, crazy chases, and an army of beavers making things harder for him.
