In a scenario involving a natural disaster, the entire population of the Azores is forced to leave due to an uncontrolled infestation of hydrangeas, a common flower on these islands. Two young soldiers, fascinated by the beauty of the landscape, take us through the sad stories of those forced to leave and the deep-rooted desire to resist by continuing to live on the islands.
