Go Short 2026: European Audience Favorites Matinee
Every year, European film festivals come together to organize the European Short Film Audience Award (ESFAA): a selection of the very best European short films from the past year, each having won a national audience award at the partner festivals, which then go on tour to compete for the title of the European audience’s favorite short film.
Festivals participating in the ESFAA this year: Brussels Short Film Festival (Belgium), Curtas Vila do Conde (Portugal), Alcine – Festival de Cine (Spain), Interfilm – International Short Film Festival Berlin (Germany), Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival (France), Tampere Film Festival (Finland), Short Waves Festival (Poland), and our very own Go Short (Netherlands).
