In Klara and the Sun, based on the bestseller by Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro and written and directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit), you’ll meet Klara (Jenna Ortega), an Artificial Friend who wants nothing more than to find her perfect home.
When she meets Josie (Mia Tharia), they immediately recognize something in each other. Josie has a strained relationship with her mother (Amy Adams), and they’ve suffered a great loss, but Klara—with her innocent wonder and unwavering loyalty—manages to bring the family a little closer together again, bringing joy to Josie’s complicated life.
